Lady Godiva is back for an unprecedented 22nd season in 2008. After finishing tied for 3rd in 2007, Godiva is back and hungry for a new year. With a strong team ethos and a philosophy built on fundamentals, efficient offense, and tenacious defense, Godiva is looking forward to a highly competitive season. 29.10.2007 - Semi-finalists once again! Godiva finished tied for 3rd after losing in the semis of of the UPA National Championship. We were big time bracket busters after going into the tournament seeded 12th! Our 11 rookies were awesome and we're already thinking about getting better for next year. We also finished tied for 4th in the spirit rankings, proving that you can be competitive and sportsmanlike at the same time. Thank you to all our supporters, fans, and sponsors. See you next year!
23.10.2007 - We're headed to nationals! You can keep track of our results on the nationals website. After losing in the regional finals, we ended up qualifying 3rd from the Northeast Region. We're off to Sarasota, FL tomorrow!
17.09.2007 - What a sectionals weekend! Rain, wind, and cold on Saturday and a 7:30am start on Sunday. The fields were awesome thanks to our very own Sectionals Coordinators Chris and Tracy. Godiva suffered tough one-point loss to Brute Squad in the finals and finished 2nd in the section. Things seem to be right on track for Godiva!
28.07.2007 - Here we go...Two practice weekends, a weekend off, another practice weekend, then 2 tournaments that we'll use as practice weekends...then oh goodness, its already september and the Fall Series!
07.07.2007 - The July break is a time for people to enjoy their summer...and to mentally and physically prepare for the upcoming season. The summer workout program has been sent out and everyone is working hard to get faster, stronger, and quicker.
01.07.2007 - Tryouts are done! We have a fabulous group of rookies to complement some great vets and a handful of players returning to the Godiva fold after playing on the other coast. Check out our 2007 roster.
