The 21st annual BUDA Good Cause tourney was a rousing success. On July 16, 2011, 80 different players contributed in the fundraising effort of close to $9,000. A huge thanks goes out to all of the top fundraisers, and every participant who raised money on behalf of Bridge Over Troubled Waters, as well as, the non-players who generously donated to the cause. We would also like to thank all of our tournament sponsors for their product and gift certificate donations which were used as incentive prizes for the top fundraisers. We look forward to doing it all again in July 2012.

BUDA is proud to have chosen Bridge Over Troubled Waters as our 2011 Good Cause beneficiary.
BridgeOTW.org is a local, non-profit organization, whose mission is very simple: they save lives. They enable high-risk, runaway and homeless youth to achieve a healthy and productive adulthood through prevention, intervention, and education services. Serving over 2,400 youth ages 14-24 each year, Bridge offers a comprehensive range of health, educational, career and housing services. They are a shelter for youths and so much more. You may recognize the Bridge Health Van in Harvard Square or other parts of Boston, offering critical health services to youths at risk.
This will be BUDA's 21st annual Good Cause Tournament and we hope the BUDA players and community will support this cause with an outstanding fund-raising effort. 100% of all tournament donations made to Bridge Over Troubled Waters, goes directly to BOTW. The beneficiary has zero expenses to cover for this fundraiser.
