BUDA's Youth Program can help you with part of your PE program, help start an ultimate team, or augment the skills of your existing team.
You may be uncertain as to how to incorporate Ultimate frisbee into your program because of unfamiliarity with the game. This is where BUDA’s Youth Program comes in. This program was launched in 2002 to provide education, outreach, and technical expertise to make the sport of Ultimate Frisbee accessible to young players (ages 10-18).
The Youth Program’s services include:
- Ultimate Frisbee Teaching Clinics: The BUDA Youth Program Educator, an experienced Ultimate player and instructor, provides on-site training to teach youth basic throwing skills and get them playing. Educational materials and an Ultimate Teaching Kit, with all the necessary equipment to play (including a supply of discs), are included.
- Training for Athletic Program Leaders and Youth Program Leaders: The BUDA Youth Program Educator is also available to schedule training for program staff that are interested in teaching the sport of Ultimate to their students, campers, scouts, etc.
- Support Services for Educators and Youth Leaders: BUDA’s Youth Educator assists educators and youth leaders by providing access to educational materials and low-cost discs (175-g Discrafts, the official disc of the Ultimate Player’s Association).
All of the above services are provided free of charge. For more information or to discuss the possibility of scheduling one of the BUDA Youth Program services described above, please send an e-mail with your detailed request to: This email address is being protected from spambots.
