Catherine Greenwald (HS Director, Youth Educator, HS coaching grant recipient)

Catherine Greenwald has been playing and coaching Ultimate since 1982. Over that time she won three UPA National titles (1995-97) and participated in over a dozen National, World, and World Club championships.

Since retiring from elite competition, she has dedicated herself to teaching and coaching Ultimate to kids of all ages. In addition to coaching the Concord-Carlisle High School team, she was Director of the BUDA High School Ultimate League and a BUDA Youth Educator before her recent move to Utah.

Catherine took BUDA’s fledging high school program to the next level, investing countless hours in reorganizing its structure and helping teams understand the rostering and scheduling requirements. Her two years as high school director saw a significant increase in high school league and tournament participation, and was matched by her enthusiasm for youth outreach and clinics.

As a token of our appreciation, and since we’re not totally convinced she’s retired, Catherine is receiving a VC Ultimate gift certificate. If she doesn’t get some sweet gear for herself, no doubt her daughter will benefit.
